Alana Nel - Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer

Hi, I'm Alana! I'm your Northern Alberta yoga instructor and personal trainer. I believe that every single person can benefit from learning about ways that their body and mind can be healthier and that through implementing small things over time big changes will happen. I strive to meet you where ever you are today and that today is the perfect place to start. Welcome, I'm happy to have you here.

Meet Alana Nel

Alana is a 500hr RYT, Canfitpro Personal Training Specialist, National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer, and Girls Gone Strong Pre and Postnatal Coach.  She has been teaching yoga since 2018 and training clients in the gym and online since 2021. 

Prior to becoming a yoga teacher Alana spent many years teaching swimming, instructing group fitness and coaching multiple sports.  She began doing yoga as part of an injury recovery and absolutely fell in love but like many she felt that her body needed more than just yoga. During Covid, just as many others did, Alana found herself putting on weight and being lethargic and miserable. A situation where change needed to happen so she could truly live her best life. She started putting her self first and decided that she needed to prioritize her own wellness. She started learning about weight loss and started using resistance training to accompany her yoga practice. 40lbs down and a new found passion Alana decided to pursue personal training as part of her career.

If you are looking for someone to help you with your goals but also understands what it's like to be injured, overweight, lost, and unsure of what to do next. Alana is here for you. Meeting clients where they are at today in a judgement free and comfortable space.
